EATING 5 GRAMS SALT SAFE FOR OUR HEART

A study conducted in 18 countries including India has found that Salt food up to 5 grams per day can be safe for heart. It does not increase the risk of heart attack and stroke.  According to researcher at the Canada Makmaster university fruits and vegetable can be eliminated from the consumption of potato potassium- rich food products.



This conclusion has been drawn in 18 countries based on the study of 94,000 people of 35 to 70 years. It found that the risk of heart diesease and stroke could increase the risk of eating more than 5 grams of sodium.China is the only country where nearly 80 percent of people eat more than 5 gram daily. Most people in the rest of the country eat 3 to 5 gram of salt. A researcher of a Mcmaster said that WHO advises to eat less than 2 grams of sodium.
